With a heavy heart, we want to share that the Marin Cyclists Board of Directors voted to cancel the 2020 Marin Century.

We do not know what the future holds with COVID-19. We do not know how the evolving regulations and guidelines around social distancing will change between now and August. We are concerned that even if the guidelines allow cycling events in August, we will not have the time or resources to plan the event and train our staff to a standard that will ensure everyone’s safety. As for all Marin Cyclists events, our highest priority is the health and safety of our riders, volunteers, and members.

Because of the decision to cancel, we are waiving our no-refund policy. All registrations and merchandise purchases will be fully refunded back to the credit card that was charged. Please be patient while we process your refund over the next few weeks.

In keeping with the Marin Century spirit, we are exploring a virtual ride that brings our cycling community together as we each ride apart. We will keep you posted as those details unfold.

Thank you for your understanding, and for your support over the last 58 years. We look forward to seeing you at the 2021 Marin Century next year.
